The Dales Bird of Prey Experience
(1 hour)
The Dales one hour experience is a great choice for anybody who would like an introduction to handling birds of prey. Based from the tearoom it’s an exciting hands-on experience, that enables you to wear the glove and get up-close and personal with a bird of prey.
The Half-day Birds of Prey Experience
(3 hours - light lunch included)
Our half-day experience includes all that the one hour does and more! Like all of our experiences, it’s a relaxed and informal one with Kieren & David, our friendly falconers. You’ll have the opportunity to handle up to five birds of prey, in the picturesque surroundings at Feizor. This experience also includes a free-flying Owl.
The Friday Falconry Experience
(1 hour)
This is a new Friday experience for spring 2024. A hands-on walk from Elaine’s Tearoom, in the beautiful Yorkshire Dales, with a trained bird of prey. We’ll lend you a falconers glove and you’ll get lots of opportunities to call a bird back down to your hand.
We don’t participate with large and commercial gift experience companies, so when you visit, there won’t be any large groups. There’s always a maximum of four participants on our experiences, unless of course you want more, then it would be totally exclusive to you on the day! So no queues or waiting for ‘your turn’.
We also offer a ‘Spectator’ option for some experiences for those who would like to bring along a camera and view at close quarters, without handing the birds*.
*Please note – our spectator option is available as an accompaniment to a participant only.
Our experiences are suitable for those aged 7 years and over.
